The Toyota Land Cruiser 2.8 D in its 7 seat version represents the latest generation of the legendary off-roader, combining the durability of a body-on-frame chassis with modern technology and comfort. Under the hood sits a 2.8-liter four-cylinder turbo diesel engine delivering 204 hp and 500 Nm of torque across a wide range of low revs. Power is transmitted through a new eight-speed automatic transmission to all four wheels thanks to the permanent 4×4 system. For maximum off-road capability, the vehicle is equipped with the Stabiliser Disconnect Mechanism, which allows the front stabilizer bar to be disengaged, and the Multi-Terrain Select drive mode system including the Multi-Terrain Monitor camera system that provides a clear view of the surroundings and underbody during low-speed driving. The interior of the seven-seat version is designed to provide ample space and comfort for all passengers. High-quality craftsmanship is complemented by modern technologies such as a digital instrument cluster, a large central touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, multi-zone climate control, and USB ports for every row of seats. Both the front and middle rows of seats are heated and ventilated, and the rear rows can be easily folded to expand the luggage compartment. Naturally, the model includes the full Toyota Safety Sense suite of safety and driver-assistance systems, including emergency braking, downhill assist, adaptive cruise control, and blind-spot monitoring. The new Land Cruiser offers an ideal combination of serious off-road capability, comfort for up to seven occupants, and modern technology for everyday driving.
