New Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C8 3LZ with new generation of Chevrolet’s flat-plane crank based on European supersports 5.5L V8 LT6 DOHC 645 PS and maximum torque 595 Nm. It is the most powerful series-produced atmospheric V8 engine in the world to date. Acceleration from 0 to 100 in unbelievable 3,1 seconds, results are comparable with supersports. Comparison is also in place due to a major change in C8’s chasis style. It’s now designed as a mid-engine sports car which dramaticaly changes its weight distribution, handling and the way torque is transferred to the road. Corvette has a 8-speed automatic dual-clutch transmission with paddle shifters. Rear Wheel Drive. COMPETITION SPORT seats are power adjustable with memory, heated and vented.
Reworked chassis and coil-over suspensions ensure maximum agility in all conditions. Wide range of drive modes is a given: Tour, Weather, Sport and Track. There are two additional customizable modes. The settings apply changes to: electronic throttle proression, transmission shift map, electronic power steering, StabiliTrak, exhaust sound and others. The optional performance package adds racing carbon-ceramic brakes. Electronic Limited Slip Differential is essential to improve grip on all surfaces. Magnetic Ride Control offers magnetic suspension technology which reads the road surface 1,000 times per second, precisely adjusting dampers for optimum handling even on rough conditions. The front axle has a lift system, it’s possible to heighten its ground clearance by 40mm for safer parking, going over speed bumps etc. In coordination with a GPS system it’s possible to save the places where more clearance is recorded to memory, from which they can be recognized and the lift system is applied automatically.
This is an EU model with European navigation, a 3-year European warranty, and the option to choose the Czech language (or others).
A new engine specifically designed for the Z06. The most powerful naturally aspirated V8 ever created, it delivers 646 horsepower and 595 Nm. Unofficially, rumor has it that the developers of the Z06 took the engine from the Ferarri, stripped it down to the last bolt, tweaked it and made it their own for the new Corvette Z06.
