New Ford F-150 Raptor – New third generation of the sports oriented pickup arrives with a brand new interior design in style of the luxurious F-150 siblings. The famous Raptor offroad capabilities also received and upgrade. 3.5-liter V6 EcoBoost engine outputs 450HP and 692Nm of torque. TwinTurbo system achieves 10.5:1 compression ratio and reaches the listed torque in low rpms. The Raptor features a new generation of Fox Racing Shox 3.0 with Live Valve technology, which adjusts the stiffness and behavior of the shock absorbers based on the data collected from the sensors on the vehicle and the selected driving mode. The new 4×4 drive system, called the TORQUE-ON-DEMAND combines the best attributes of clutch-driven, on-demand all-wheel drive with durable, mechanical-locking four-wheel drive. The system switches all wheel drive before the front axle is slipped. There is still electronic locking rear differential and front axle differential 4.10 Torsen. The Terrain Management System offers seven driving modes: Normal, Tow/Haul, Sport, Off-Road, Baja, Deep Snow/Sand, and Rock Crawl. Within each mode, parameters and responses of the engine and throttle pedal, transmission characteristics, drivetrain and torque distribution, traction control, suspension including dampers, steering, and the braking system are automatically adjusted. For each selected mode, all systems are set to their optimal configuration for the given surface or driving character.
