Car introduction
Chrysler Pacifica Select AWD. A family MPV, which has been named Minivan of the Year for seven consecutive years. The interior offers seating for 7 passengers and a generous, flexible cabin space. The exterior of this MPV is characterized by a dynamic and well-proportioned design while maintaining excellent visibility from the vehicle. The powertrain is provided by the proven 3.6L Pentastar VVT V6 engine delivering 287 HP and a maximum torque of 355 Nm. A comfortable ride is ensured by the 9-speed ZF automatic transmission combined with All-Wheel Drive (AWD). The system is fully automatic and operates without driver intervention, responding immediately and variably to driving conditions by transferring power to either the front or all wheels as needed. It can fully disconnect the rear drive when not required – eliminating shaft rotation, reducing resistance, and improving fuel efficiency. Compared to the standard FWD version, the AWD model features an increased ride height of 20 mm for better passability.
A unique feature of the vehicle is the Stow ‘n Go system. This sophisticated floor design offers plenty of storage space while allowing each seat in the second and third rows to be folded into the floor. The system creates a completely flat cargo area with a total capacity of 3,978.5 liters. The manufacturer states that Stow ‘n Go provides up to 243 different seating/floor configurations. The 7-seat interior offers two manually folding captain’s chairs in the second row. The third row has three seats, foldable from the cargo area, split 60/40, with a wheelbase of 3,089 mm.
The Select trim offers a high standard of comfort compared to the previous model range. The interior features premium black Caprice leatherette upholstery with elegant light stitching. Both the driver and front passenger have heated front seats, with the driver seat electrically adjustable in 8 directions including lumbar support. The multifunction leather steering wheel is adjustable in two directions and heated. Keyless entry and start are standard, mirrors are electrically adjustable, heated, and foldable, and the rear fifth door is power-operated. A 3-zone automatic climate control system ensures a pleasant atmosphere throughout the cabin.
The driver has a 7-inch configurable digital cluster displaying driving data and navigation instructions. The updated Uconnect 5 infotainment system features a 10.1-inch high-resolution touchscreen and integrated Amazon Alexa voice support, allowing control of music, weather, news, traffic information, or tasks via voice commands. The system supports up to 5 user profiles for storing preferences such as default phone, comfort settings, Alexa commands, and audio settings. Full connectivity is provided via wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The vehicle audio system consists of 6 speakers.
As a family vehicle, the Pacifica comes standard with a wide range of driving assistants, including adaptive cruise control with Stop and Go, forward collision warning with active emergency braking, a brake assist system, blind-spot monitoring, and a rear cross-traffic alert. The optional Safety Sphere package further enhances safety and comfort, offering a Surround 360 camera system for a bird’s-eye view and an automatic parallel and perpendicular parking assistant with front and rear parking sensors. The dynamic exterior design is highlighted by 18-inch aluminum wheels, slim LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, and dark-tinted rear windows for the second and third row seats, creating a cozy interior atmosphere.
