The new Cadillac Lyriq Sport AWD represents an exceptional next-generation luxury SUV, combining high performance, advanced engineering, and the refined driving character typical of premium electric vehicles. The powertrain utilizes dual electric motors (AWD) delivering a total output of 528 hp and maximum torque of 610 Nm. Electronically controlled torque distribution between the front and rear axles optimizes traction and stability in real time, with the rear axle playing a dominant role in driving dynamics. The result is acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds, underlining the vehicle’s sporty character despite its strong focus on comfort.

The battery system, with a usable capacity of 102 kWh, enables a driving range of up to 530 km (WLTP), fully covering both daily commuting and long-distance travel. Weight distribution is balanced at 50/50 between the front and rear axles. The vehicle supports DC fast charging up to 190 kW, allowing charging from 10% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes, while a full charge (0–100%) takes around 60 minutes, depending on the charging curve. A 15-minute charge on a high-power charger can extend the range by up to 200 km. Under typical home AC charging conditions, the battery can be recharged in approximately 5–5.5 hours at 22 kW or 10–11 hours at 11 kW.

The chassis features a five-link suspension on both front and rear axles with premium Passive Plus dampers, contributing to smoother ride quality, improved road surface filtration, and more precise handling, even when equipped with 21″ alloy wheels. The Sport model is fitted with Brembo performance front brakes with 390 mm discs, while the rear brakes use 345 mm discs. The braking system is integrated with blended braking, effectively combining regenerative and mechanical braking for optimal efficiency and smooth deceleration.

The Lyriq model offers a wide range of driver assistance systems, including automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, a 360-degree camera system, advanced automatic parking with braking and gear selection, cyclist alert systems for adjacent traffic, and a digital rearview mirror with camera feed. Cargo capacity stands at 588 liters in the standard configuration, expanding to 1,687 liters with the rear seats folded, plus an additional 64 liters of underfloor storage for smaller items or charging accessories. The LED lighting signature is a distinctive design element, featuring an illuminated Black Crystal front grille with vertical daytime running lights and hidden headlamps, while the rear is defined by striking LED lighting extending along the D-pillars across the full width of the tailgate.
