Car introduction

The new Dodge Charger Scat Pack Plus SixPack HO AWD retains the authentic character of a true American muscle car. The new-generation concept is powered by a turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine, the Hurricane – 3.0L Twin Turbo SixPack HO, delivering 550 HP and an extreme 720 Nm of torque. Paired with an eight-speed ZF automatic transmission and standard AWD, it achieves an official acceleration of 0–100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, while completing the iconic quarter mile in just 12.2 seconds. The new power unit provides strong pulling force from low RPM and, thanks to the twin turbochargers’ rapid response, easily reaches an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.

The vehicle utilizes a different chassis platform than its electric counterpart and is based on the modular STLA Large architecture. The suspension system features a multi-link setup focused on traction and stability. At the front, an aluminum multilink axle optimized for precise wheel control and braking stability is employed. The rear features fully independent suspension with a mechanical limited-slip differential for improved acceleration and vehicle control. Another highlight is the Adaptive Damping Suspension. This system incorporates modified adaptive dampers using two specialized valves – one dedicated to compression and the other to rebound control. It enables a softer, more comfortable ride at lower speeds and over uneven surfaces, while providing a firmer setup during cornering. The damper calibration is optimized for the gasoline-powered SixPack variant, supporting the mechanical AWD system and the increased front axle load. The Scat Pack SixPack HO manages its performance through Brembo braking system. At the front, six-piston calipers with 380 mm ventilated discs are installed, while the rear features four-piston calipers with 360 mm discs.

The Scat Pack model offers six driving modes:

• Auto – Default universal setting for everyday driving with balanced characteristics and more comfort-oriented steering.
• Sport – Sharper throttle response and firmer setup for dynamic, high-speed road driving.
• Track – Stiff chassis and steering calibration designed for dry, high-grip surfaces. Minimizes stability control intervention and optimizes torque distribution for circuit use.
• Drag (Sprint Mode) – Optimizes power delivery, AWD traction, and shift strategy for maximum launch performance. Works in conjunction with Launch Control.
• Wet/Snow – Softens power delivery and traction characteristics to enhance stability on slippery surfaces.
• Custom – Allows drivers to save their preferred configuration, including throttle response, steering feel, stability system behavior, and torque distribution.

In addition to standard driving modes, special performance features include:

• Line Lock – Locks the front brakes to allow rear tire warm-up for optimal traction.
• Launch Control – Regulates wheel torque using five selectable launch intensities to prevent wheel spin and ensure consistent maximum-traction starts.
• Drift – Optimizes torque distribution toward the rear axle, reduces stability control intervention, and adjusts chassis settings to enable controlled oversteer.
• Donut – Configures drivetrain and traction systems for fast, stable rotation around the rear axle at low speeds, facilitating consistent circular slides with minimal steering correction.
• Rear-Wheel Drive Mode – Disconnects the front axle, enabling pure rear-wheel drive for sporty driving and drifting.

The interior is dominated by a large 16-inch digital instrument cluster with high resolution, Uconnect 5 infotainment with a 12.3-inch touchscreen, and a fully configurable head-up display. Beyond full connectivity including a 4G Wi-Fi hotspot, comfort functions, and drive mode management, the infotainment system enables access to extensive performance data. Performance Pages allow measurement and display of acceleration times, braking distance and timing, longitudinal and lateral G-force, steering angle, including historical data and best-record values. Drivers can monitor real-time power output, torque, wheel slip, and engine temperature. The infotainment system supports wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, and newly Amazon Alexa. Through Alexa integration, users can adjust cabin temperature, enter navigation destinations, or even request remote engine start assistance.

The Scat Pack features a full leather interior, including a leather-wrapped dashboard. Sport seats are electrically adjustable. In addition to lumbar support adjustment, the driver can now set thigh support length. The front seats are heated and ventilated, with driver memory function. The cabin also stands out with Attitude-Adjustment Lighting, which changes color according to the selected driving mode or active vehicle functions. The substantial leather-wrapped sport steering wheel is heated, fully multifunctional, and features a flat top and bottom section. The vehicle comes standard with a comprehensive suite of safety systems and driver assistance features, including blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-path detection to warn the driver when reversing out of parking spaces. Traffic sign recognition and adaptive cruise control with forward collision warning are also included. Parking assistance is supported by sensors and a 360-degree surround-view camera. Additionally, the front cameras provide a direct view of the front wheels to help prevent curb damage.
